If ever there was a bridal collection made for the inner superstar in all of us, the Spring 2020 Galia Lahav Couture Collection is it.
SERENA, a body-hugging fitted mermaid corset dress with a sheer off the shoulder neckline and multiple geometric elongating cut-outs accentuated with silk piping. The dress is entirely made of hand embroidered lace.

Make A Scene, the Spring/Summer 2020 couture collection from Galia Lahav embraces self-love, confidence and boldness. Filled with stunning statement-making details, this line is perfect for the glamorous bride who relishes taking center stage on her wedding day and wants to own the spotlight in the gown of her choice.
“We were inspired by the musical “Dreamgirls” and what a star goes through behind the stage or screen before stepping into her role—the process of her blossoming into her own. The young woman going out into the big world, listening to her own voice, and believing in herself was our muse. The ‘Make a Scene’ collection celebrates the process a bride herself goes through for her wedding, her independence, and what the dress means to her when she puts it on.”
While Galia Lahav wedding dresses are never short of extraordinary, the Spring 2020 bridal gowns redefines romance with exquisitely glamorous details. There are detachable bustled tulle trains and cascading satin overskirts designed for an unforgettable entrance, meticulously hand-placed three-dimensional elements including large embroidered flowers, and unique necklines that defy categorization (see Gaga, below).
GAGA features a surprising neckline with an open tailored corset top overlapping a fitted sweetheart inner corset, combined with a voluminous skirt made of an ice pink and ivory 3D lace material with multiple two-toned silk tulle inserts.
The entire Spring 2020 collection is a study in contrast: sculptural silhouettes with structured shoulders and sleeves meet dreamy shades of ice pink, silver and white, tailored opaque bases wrapped in romantic tulle, organza, and French guipure lace; fitted bodices paired with voluminous skirts. Galia Lahav signatures such as sheer side panels and low illusion backs imbue the looks with the house's unmistakable touch of drama.
