It was regal elegance with a touch of magic at Berta Bridal’s Fall 2016 runway presentation at the recent New York Bridal Week. From the wedding dresses (oh, the wedding dresses!) to the venue (The Grand Ballroom at Plaza Hotel), to the accessories and even the show notes (printed by Wedding Paper Divas), everything glimmered softly as if touched by pixie dust. The ornately embellished sheaths — some of which seemed to be held merely by glistening lattices of beads — threatened to completely hypnotize the audience, who only roused from their spellbound stupor when gowns with voluminous overskirts or capes rustled down the runway. The finale gown took the royalty-laden trope to its summit, presenting the heart of the Berta Bride – she rules her own destiny, confident and strong, and never afraid to shine. Beautiful.
