We are extremely thrilled to present the newly launched Galia Lahav’s “Les Rêves Bohémiens” on Wedding Inspirasi today! We were utterly smitten by Galia Lahav’s Spring 2016 runway presentation at the New York Bridal Week, but seeing the gowns in this shoot by Greg Swales made us realize how truly magical this collection is.
In “Les Rêves Bohémiens”, Galia Lahav weaved fantasy and romance in a beautiful bohemian fairy tale. The collection features fifteen of the dreamiest gowns (with names such as Cinderella and Snow White), in ice blue, dusty rose, champagne and ivory, wrapped in tulle and lace, and adorned with exquisite embellishments:
“The dresses embody details of light, soft draping, and the delicate flares inspired by wings. The necklines are very detailed and trimmed in hand embroidery, and all the exquisite jewelry pieces are hand beaded, with intricate three-dimensional details using brushed and antique silver.”
Along with the bridal collection, Galia has also created a range of 14-karat gold bridal accessories.
“While designing her bridal dress and accessory collection, Galia searched deep into the heart of the bride, to express the mood of falling in love. Those who have searched for and found love understand that it is intangible and can never be strictly defined or explained, but must be felt and experienced, and that’s the essence that Galia worked to portray in this collection. It is not about the fabric or the dress, this collection is something beyond the material, it is an expression of love through the art of design.”
