We all expected our fashion crush Olivia Palermo to surprise us with an unconventional wedding dress at her nuptials to longtime beau Johannes Huebl last week, and she did just that. Her bridal “gown” of choice was actually a chic custom ensemble by Carolina Herrera, consisting of a jewel neck cream cashmere sweater with ostrich feather accents, white shorts and a full tulle overskirt, which she wore with a pair of blue Manolo Blahniks. We absolutely adore her skirt (see the look here)!
If you love Olivia’s bridal look but don’t want to go the sweater-and-shorts route, the Celine gown, above, from Carolina Herrera’s Bridal Spring 2015 collection, has a similar motif in a more classic gown setting. The rest of gowns in this collection are also incredibly pretty and elegant!
