Trash Couture Wedding Dresses Spring 2012
Black Swan Ballet Inspired Bridal Looks

white swan wedding dresses 2012

Amazing ballet-inspired wedding dresses from Trash Couture Spring 2012 fashion show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Taking cue from the outfits from the movie, Black Swan, the fashion show started with delicate all-white ensembles before transitioning with more darker, dramatic looks in head-to-toe black. But unlike the costumes used in the film, the dresses from this collection have a more gothic and vintage feel to them. Above, a deconstructed romantic tutu with asymmetrical hemline and flower like feather top. Below, ankle length gown with neckline lined with feathers.

Trash Couture was established in 2002 by Scandinavian designer Ann Wiberg as a pro-environmental couture brand. “Hand-crafted in Paris, each creation is unique of produced as a very limited edition and marketed as Future-vintage. The entire collection is made out of silk, tulle, couture embroidered and is decorated with vintage laces and semi-previous stones. One of the defining success for Trash couture is the original signature style and philosophy of using ecologically desirable materials.” All photos: Copenhagen Fashion Week®.
