I’ve always had a problem finding the perfect dress to attend a wedding dinner. One that is 1) comfortable, 2) stylish/glamourous, 3) keeps me modestly covered and 4) stand out from the crowd.  You know the deal, most maxi dresses and evening gowns are either of the strapless or spaghetti strap variety. Enter the kaftan dresses from Royal Rickshaw by Dubai-based Rajiv Nihalani.

What a lovely collection of dresses! In love with the electric blue one (crystal kitsch kaftan) with under bust embroidery. I’d wear one in white as a wedding gown. :) I’ve never worn lime green before but the one below looks good paired with a contrasting fuchsia belt. It comes with a cowled neck and hood.

Time for drama! A bright orange dress with a geometric detail? Or a shocking pink with tie-dye inspired prints? Take your pick.

Saving the best for last. Love the circular crystal motif as center of attention for the black dress and how I adore everything about this yellow dress – the soft color, billowing fabric under arm, fitted purple fore sleeves and details on the sash. It has a kind of Star Wars quality to it, don’t you think?
