When it comes to wedding gowns, I’ve always been partial to the structured A-line silhouette. I’ve never really like sheath dresses because I thought they look kinda just like your average evening gown, but in white. And the dresses tend to be very figure hugging. Not a problem if you have a great figure but for the rest of us… Looking through Jenny Packham’s collection however, I have developed a great liking for the leaner sheath dress. I think it has something to do with the details and choice of fabric.
Left emphasis is placed on beaded neckline, right, the waist is the star on this dress.

Combining the slim lines of the dresses with intricate beading, sequins, smart layering and flowing ruffles, the dresses in Jenny’s collection maintains a certain sleekness while being forgiving to bigger-sized hips.

Love the sleeves on this one…

I have fallen deeply in love with this hippie-inspired long-sleeve Garbo dress. The neckline, the ruched waist, the bishop sleeves! So, so pretty!
